Prototypes built around real problems.

These are safe, simplified recreations of workflows I've been developing for laboratories and technical teams. You can use the demo controls — without connecting to any live laboratory systems.

Demo only. All names, sample numbers, equipment and records are fictional. This is not a deployment, certification, endorsement or adoption by any employer. Project maturity varies and is shown below.
Project 01 / Read-only laboratory intelligence

LabGuard · Active development

Search samples, inspect analysis evidence and identify records that need attention. The real project is designed to read existing information without changing the source LIMS.

Read-only demonstration

Sample result explorer

Fictional sample records
SampleClient / sourceRequestedEvidenceReadiness
What this demonstrates: database-backed reporting concepts, search, linked result evidence and request-versus-evidence checks. The live LabGuard development system is not connected to this page.
Project 02 / Equipment & quality management

LabSphere · Active development

A slice of an equipment register. Monitor calibration dates, filter items by due status and log a fictional maintenance request for review.

Operations prototype

Equipment register

Synthetic assets
AssetEquipmentAreaNext calibrationState
What this demonstrates: asset master data, upcoming obligations and maintenance review concepts. No real calibration dates or compliance status are used.
Project 03 / Live workflow visibility

SampleFlow · Interactive prototype

Move fictional work through Receiving, Preparation, Testing and Review. A practical layout for an operations display or touch-enabled board.

Interactive workflow
Click “Move to next stage” on a card to try it.
What this demonstrates: visible sample lifecycle, work queues and straightforward status transitions. This demonstration uses only in-browser state; it is not linked to a production tracker.
Project 04 / Document control & recurring forms

Document Control · In development

An early concept for keeping forms, scheduled reviews and evidence in one place. Submit sample tasks and inspect their basic history, without editing any real documents.

Concept demonstration

Recurring obligations

Example schedule only
RecordResponsible roleDueStatus
What this demonstrates: forms and task search, responsibility, due dates and submission evidence. A real system would require permissions, approved templates, approvals and a durable audit trail.
Project 05 / Next-generation LIMS foundation

LabCore · Early foundation

An illustrative, keyboard-friendly worksheet concept based on the kind of analyst workflow LabCore is being designed to support. Change the measurements to see an example calculation.

Early-stage concept

Example analysis worksheet

Fictional sample · Unvalidated demo calculation
LabCore / Example worksheetUnvalidated calculation only
Illustrative percentage mass change5.00%

Example formula: (initial mass − final mass) ÷ initial mass × 100. Not an approved analytical method or validated result.

What this demonstrates: dense form design, immediate input validation and calculation-feedback patterns. LabCore is an early foundation, not a finished laboratory system.
