LabGuard — a clearer view of lab data.
Developing an analytics interface over existing laboratory data, including sample search, form views, analysis evidence and readiness checks without writing back to the source LIMS.
I'm Sean — an IT technician who builds software to solve problems I see in everyday work. I've been creating laboratory dashboards, sample trackers and document tools, and I build websites and practical apps for other businesses too.
These previews follow the navigation, layout and visual approach of my actual application projects. Explore the interfaces using fictional sample data. The private, backend-connected development applications are not exposed to visitors.
Open a dark, sidebar-based workspace inspired by LabGuard's actual React front end. Navigate between sample packs, prep, analysis, forms, quality and management.
Open a light operational workspace based on LabSphere's actual React layout, including work queues, sample context, approval views and controlled-record navigation.
Interactive UI previews The LabGuard and LabSphere previews reproduce visible design patterns from the original frontends; the remaining three are simplified workflow concepts. All use fictional data and are isolated from workplace systems. No adoption, approval or accreditation is implied.
These are self-initiated software projects that I'm developing, including some I've proposed as ways to improve workplace processes. They're not presented as paid client work or systems already adopted by an employer.

Building an integrated laboratory-management platform with modules for equipment, quality, operational workflows and controlled records. It's a development project, not a certified system.
Exploring interactive boards for receiving, preparation, analysis and review so teams can see where a sample is and what action comes next.
Developing a document and recurring-forms concept with assigned responsibilities, due dates, reviews and a searchable record history. Still under development.
Project visuals are illustrative. The public interactive demos use synthetic data and separately written code, not internal datasets, employer documents or proprietary application source.
Not every business needs a complicated platform. Sometimes a better website or a small custom tool is enough to make a real difference.
Company sites, portfolios, landing pages, WordPress improvements and ongoing updates.
Business dashboards, portals, data-driven apps, trackers and software for everyday operations.
Simple workflows, notifications and tools that cut down repetitive manual work.
Practical guidance on business systems, troubleshooting, networks and reliable technology.
“If there's a simpler, reliable way to do it, that's the way I want to build it.”
My background is in the hands-on side of IT: supporting users, managing systems, working with networks and finding fixes when things go wrong. It's made me think carefully about the people who have to use the software, not just the people who build it.
RatioTech is where I bring that experience together with web development, application building and automation. I use established development tools and AI-assisted coding when it helps, but I still care about the basics: understanding the problem, testing and making the result maintainable.
I'm interested in projects that take an everyday frustration and make it easier to deal with.
